Colosimo's sausage to be sold at Associated FoodSalt Lake Tribune, The (UT)Date: December 08, 2005 Colosimo's Sausage, a Utah favorite since 1923, has announced its products are now available in Associated Food Stores along the Wasatch Front. The Magna-based company also has expanded its advertising campaign, featuring billboards with irreverent slogans such as "The Sausage Others Envy," "Others Just Don't Measure Up," Even Our Wurst Is the Bestâ and "You Make the Jokes. We'll Make the Sausage." "We're excited about all of our new distribution points," said Paul Colosimo, the third-generation family member to oversee the business based on an original recipe that founder Ralph Colosimo brought from Calabria, Italy. Colosimo's still maintains its original Magna location, 9009 W. 2700 South, but its primary store is now at 8745 S. 700 East in Sandy. Its sausages and bratwurst also are available at Dan's Foods, Dick's Market, Macey's Food Drug, Bowman's Market and Peterson's Marketplace. -Dawn House |
